Substring logik

I can't hardly believe that HS wouldn't have a substring logik module, but I can't seem to find it. (searched in german for 'textteile')

looking for something like:
substring ("string";startposition;number of chars)

if it doesn't already exist it's only a 30second python-effort to make it, but I just want to avoid creating duplicate logik modules.

thanks for confirming of this exists or not.

tx for the feedback the module you pointed me te allowed to extract the left portion or the right portion of a string. Unfortunately I needed the middle portion

Anyway I created the logic module to do this and uploaded it to the 'downloadbereich'. Might save anyone else the 30seconds to make it.
