Standard Webbrowser: Aktualisierung dauert "eeewig"
Nachdem hier auf neben der KNX-Kompetenz auch enormes IT-Knowhow versammelt ist folgendes Problem:

wenn ich einen Link im WWW anklicke dauert es immer elend lang bis die Seite aktualisiert/geöffnet wird. Das ist auch im Forum der fall, also zB beim "Antwort"-Button drücken, oder beim "Suchen"-Link....

(Nachdem ich den "Thema erstellen" Button gedrückt habe musste ich ca. 1,5 Minuten warten bis die Seite übernommen wurde)

Innerhalb des eigenen Netztes ("Intranet"), also wenn ich ein WEB-Gerät bim eigenen Netz (192.168.1.xxx) aufrufe ist die Geschwindigkeit 100% OK.

Meine Vermutung geht daher in Richtung Kabelbetreiber: wie kann ich denn das Thema ein bisschen eingrenzen bzw konkret testen und DOKUMENTIEREN?

Ich verwende Chrome, im FF ist's aber auch nicht besser....

Die DNS Server werden vom Router autom. bezogen und in den Clients ist "automatisch beziehen" eingestellt, als Gateway ist mein Router 192.168.1.254 eingetragen.

Hallo Erich,

ich würde mal in 2 Richtungen vorgehen:
1. Lasttest Deiner DSL-Verbindung durchführen über Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test
2. Testweise mal ein paar Namen bzgl. DNS-Auflösung prüfen:
NSLOOKUP eingeben und dann mal ein paar Adressen testweise auflösen lassen. Hier solltest Du sehen, ob die Auflösung fix geht oder ob Du da vereinzelt auf Wartezeiten triffst.
3. Als letztes noch einen "ping knx-user-forum.de -t -l 1024" mal für ein paar Minuten durchlaufen lassen und schauen, ob mal mittendrin Pakete abreissen oder ob das alles durchläuft (Parameter T sagt einfach nur kontinuierlicher Test (Abbruch mit CTRL-C), l erhöht die Paketgröße (k.A. was Du für eine MTU hast, 1024 sollte immer gehen.

So mal auf die schnelle.....

dabei wird über den DNS die IP aufgelöst

dann

http://78.47.173.178

wenn da keine Probleme auftauchen, dann ist es garantiert der DNS bzw. die DNS Einträge...

wir (unsere Firma) hatte am FR auch ein DNS Problem.. der Schuldige war
der t-mobile.at DNS Eintrag.. haben den auf den DNS von Google umgelegt,
seitdem gehts wieder... möglichweise haben die da gerade ein Problem ??

über die IP gings logischerweise ...

Google Public DNS steht unter den gut zu merkenden IP-Adressen 8.8.8.8 und 8.8.4.4 zur Verfügung.
Seit dem IPv6-Tag im vergangenen Jahr sind die Server auch per IPv6 erreichbar.
Diese Adressen sind nicht ganz so einfach: 2001:4860:4860::8888 und 2001:4860:4860::8844.

Werde ich zusätzlich probieren...
