on tabsheet 'Text' 1 you have assigned 'Aktion: Seite aktualisieren'. Please change that to 'Keine', upload your project and try again.

The Webabfrage scans a continuous stream from a Moxa 5110. The delimiters are 02 (STX) 220 bytes and a 03 (ETX)

Imagine a HS standalone, just for logic and UZSU and some Webabfrage. No running visu/client at all. it will work.

Obviously, I've to agree.

Also, I want to mention that the Ajax Webabfrage doesn't fail, it doesn't run at all. There is no track of it in Debug.

Any idea as where to start troubleshooting ?

You remember my other post about the navigation buttons ? I think it is the same problem.

The Webabfrage is generated and performed by the HS. There can't be any influence by the client program (exept the trigger event). It will always run the same.

I know it sounds silly, but I'm forced to start with the evidence I've at hand.

Not sure what you mean.
Usually, the Webabfrage is run when clicking on a button, to force an update. Altough I could eventually let it run by the UZSU if there is any chance to get a clue.

What can be so different for a Webabfrage run from within the HS Client (working) and the same Webafrage run with Ajax (not working, even not executed) ?

Could it be a security problem ? access rights ? if yes, where to start ?
