Hello..
have a look over here:
http://www.knx.org/fileadmin/downloa...0Eng_KnxRf.pdf
and an project example for E-Mode Controller Mode:
http://www.knx.org/fileadmin/downloa...g_Stars_EN.pdf
Siemens uses for KNX-RF the push button mode,
the configurator from Hager uses the features of the controller mode.
PS: HMI-Users (Endusers) do not change alot of RF-Group-Addresses (Communication).
You'r Welcome
Peter

E-Mode and Ctrl-Mode
Hi All,
I have a few questions i hope you can help.
KNX standart says that there are,
S-mode (system mode for full configuration like with ETS)
E-mode (Easy-mode for small installations limited configuration)
And a controller for e-mode is also possible.
But i was not able to find any KNX products with E-mode configuration option. Also i was not able to find any controllers for easy mode.Do you know any products or example installations. (is anyone using it)
And also for S-mode knx standart is not saying that ETS is mandotary but i was not able to find any HMI solutions that are capable of configuring the network.
What if a HMI user wants to change severeal group addresses (add/remove/change) are they always using ETS.
