Moe Hutz,
Thanks for the reply.
Should I connect Eibd to my serial or IP interface?
Is there any windows version of eibd?
Thanks.

I have an old Busch-Jaeger 6186/20 Din Mounted RS232 interface.
I doubt it supports FT1.2.
Any other option? Would eibd do the job?

Ups, I missed that you are using a BAOS 770.
Unfortunately this device only provides tunneling, but the Homeserver/Facilityserver need routing functionality.
Therefore you will need an other device, e.g. USB, Serial FT1.2 or any KNX-IP-Router.
What kind of RS232 do you have connected to the PC?
Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Michel,
Thanks for the reply.
I'm including the EIB portion of the debug page as well as my project settings.
What am I missing?
Also, and since I also have RS232 bus access on another computer that I could try, is there any kind of EIBD for windows?
Thanks.

Have a look in Section "EIB" on the Debug-Page, accessible via
http://IP-Adress of HS/hslist
and post a screenshot of this and your projectsettings. But take care not to post your username & password in adressline of your browser.
You can not check Connectivity inside QuadClient as it communicates via the HS only.
No, there´s no additional manual in english language available. But feel free to ask here in english, in case you do not understand some of the threads referring to HS/FS here in the forum.

Help getting started
Hi.
I'm starting to program my HomeServer 3.
I've uploaded my first project via the expert software but it doesn't seem to communicate with the KNX bus (at least the quad client doesn't).
I have a Weinzierl BAOS 770 KNX IP device that I already used with Openremote and OpenHab with no problem. I've set EIBNet/IP Routing in the project setting with the correct physical address of the device (the one in ETS) and 224.0.23.12:3671 as the multicast address.
The HS3 seems to somehow connect to the EIB because it throws no error and shows the EIB date on startup.
However... when I use the QuadClient it seems it doesn't act on any switch or doesn't read any value.
What am I doing wrong? How can I check for connectivity inside the QuadClient?
Also... is there anywhere I can get any english HS documentation besides Gira Academy page and the one bundled with the Expert software?
Thanks.Stichworte: -
