For the summer I would use the water input temperature, which should be above the dew-point. That will always be the lowest temperature.

If you use PT1000, you can also find sensors with a stainless steel cap and silicon cable, which should be be safe and durable for this application. PT1000 is an industry standard, so you don't need to buy from MDT.

I think, your idea is not working throughout the year. Modern heating systems work with tempertures in the upper 20ties and delivery enough warmth, to heat the room. Tiles have a much higher heat transmission coeficient, thus absorbing energie from your feet much quicker than a wooden floor. This makes them feel cold, not the absolut temperature.

Hello,
Which floor temperature sensors, embedded in screed under the tiles, would you suggest for a hot water heated floor?
The idea would be to keep a few floors, like kitchen and bathroom tiles, at a certain minimum temperature for comfort, even during the summer time. So for summer time floor sensors would be used, while in winter regular wall room thermostats would take over.
It would appear that PT1000 sensors from MDT (SCN-PTST3.01), with the MDT temperature controllers (SCN-RT2UP.01) would be able to do this, however I could not find anywhere in their documentation, if these sensors are suitable to be embedded in screed or concrete.
Slightly more expensive option would be Zennio NTC probes (https://www.zennio.com/products/sens...erature-probes) with Zennio analog input (https://www.zennio.com/products/inputs/quad-plus).
Perhaps there are better options I have missed? Would you recommend PT1000 or NTC, and would these MDT or Zennio probes be fine for embedding under tiles?
