Thank you for the reply.

That means, the EIB-Functionblock 7450565 works only together with Vitocom 200.

When I purchased the Vitola200, I also purchased the Functionblock, not knowing exactly if it was of any use, and the reseller had no clue.

The only functionality is to control the "inlet temperature" related to the actual "heat demands".

Could you comment a bit more, please ? maybe with an example for the dummy ?

Yes, indeed, looks very interesting.
My config: Vitola 200 VB2, Vitocell-H 100, Vitotronic 300 KW3, Vitocom 200 type EIB
At first sight, I'm a bit confused:
On one hand: I think my system uses the Viessmann "2 wire Bus"
On the other hand: the web site doesn't mention this bus.
Also, the photo shows a special cable plugged into the left corner of the Vitotronic. The Vitotronic 300 KW3 doesn't have a connector.
CORRECTION: no connector needed !
It looks like that the status LEDs are used for the Optolink Schnittstelle, so the link is infra-red
I have to check it more seriously and let you know.... unless someone comes up with more detailed info

Raymond, as I know you already have a Linux-box running
Maybe it's worth to take a look at this one.
I havent tried or used it (I also have no Viessmann) but for some other reason I'd be interested wether it works and is equivalent or - most likely - better than what the EIB-Modules offer..

I've a Viessmann EIB-Funktionsbaustein 7450565, since 3 years, still not used.

I wonder what I can do with this thing, any practical example ?
I've checked the doc, FunktionBaustein.pdf, looks terrible , a poorly scanned paper doc.

I wonder if this Funktionsbaustein is of any use at all, if a HS is available in the installation, although I haven't done anything special about the Viessmann, except displaying data on the Visu.
