I inherited a house with KNX installed. Almost all ABB equipment.
It has 12 FCU units (controlled by ABB FCA/1.1 coupled with 12 Thermostats 6124/6128) and 2x SA12.16.2.1(actuator) with a few 6127MF(sensor)
I have counted - There are a total of 46 units using Linescan. This includes one ABB router(which connects it to JACE200 as well as my home network though which I am able to scan and do basic stuff via ETS.
I have successfully recreated all the group addresses (around 200 addresses- and labeled them well - I know which address is what)
In absence of the knxproj file, it is very difficult to probe each line address and associate them with group address. ETS4 doesnot allow the group address to be defined as data types unless associated with a device. I am recreating the project file solely to import it in Gira HS or openremote so that I can throw away JACE.
So - My question is - How do I recreate the project (without spending 450E for the ETS plugin reconstruct - which will fail as 6127s and 6128s cannot be recreated by it). I am stumbled as I dont know much about KNX and manage to read using google translator(no english forums on KNX)
