isn't type of device the problem? Or are phones supported?
iPhones are not supported by definition because of the minimum screen resolution. Only the iPad family products are supported that run at least iOS 9. On the Android platform we cannot exclude device families, therefore it can be installed on any Android device running Android version > 4.0. But, if the requirement for the minimum resolution is not met, then one will face the layout problem. We will however, have to work on a layout for devices with smaller screen resolutions as well.

The resolution of my smartphone (Google Nexus 5) is 1920x1080 ... so big enough. inside-smartphone.jpg
Below the red line it's not clickable.
Above the red line it's not scrollable.
So I can not click on the "Verbinden"-Button.
But nevertheless ... I think a smartphone is to small for "working" with the inside.
We have not changed our mind, this is for sure, and it has never been possible or mentioned that ETS Inside would be able to manage more than 1 project at the time. ETS Inside is part of the installation and shall only be possible to handle one and only project.
Import/Export was indeed mentioned as 'Yes' for the Installer of the ETS Inside. However, after checking it deeper for the implementation, we found out that his is technically not possible. On the iPads it is not allowed to browse files. Project synchronisation will be the function to exchange projects between an ETS Professional and an ETS Inside device, but this will come later on this year and not on the first public version.

Hi Vassilios,
let me explain the background of my comment/question.
Many DIY-guys here are perfect candidates for ETS Inside, planning KNX just once for their private home. However, the question came up what that "1 project limit" really means. Some understood that they will need a second ETS Inside license if they want to build a testboard upfront, i.e. a second project.
My take was that with ETS Inside installed on a Mini-PC (much like we use ETS pro today), we can detach it from one installation temporarily, move it to the testboard for a while, and then later move it back to the main installation. From my understanding, this would be coverered by the "1 project at the time" limit, given that there's a practical way to import/export the project. Or if you prefer that wording, backup and restore. Do I expect too much flexibility here, can you comment on this "testboard" use case?
That may be another use case, however the concept of the ETS Inside is to always be part of the KNX installation with its own licensing dongle, so no relation with the ETS Professional.
Sooner or later, there will be KNX manufacturers embedding the ETS Inside server in their devices (e.g. a KNX visualisation server with embedded ETS Inside). What would you do in this case? Would you remove the visualisation server of the project? I assume no.
Therefore, ETS Inside is the way for non experienced users to make a KNX installation with not too much effort, however we cannot exclude the fact that one may use it differently from what KNX Association has thought. I hope that my answer covered your question.

For me it is still not really clear how it works.
I kann install it on my Windows 10 Notebook with the lincensing dongle inside. But then it would only work as a Server and i must use my ipad for the installation?
Or can i use my Notebook?
Sooner or later, there will be KNX manufacturers embedding the ETS Inside server in their devices (e.g. a KNX visualisation server with embedded ETS Inside). What would you do in this case? Would you remove the visualisation server of the project? I assume no.
No, I would just move the dongle to my test system. The visu server will just continue to work.
Or would this be a problem, having ETS Inside on two servers and share a single license between them? Of course only one at a time.
