English version?

I think that as long as the software could be improved the international language version is not a priority and never will be. I have tremendous respect for the work Gaert did and still does but I think it's to much work to do it all by himself. Sadly I am not able to help other than translating a database in dutch.

About a year later, I guess there isn't any English alternative out?

I hope that when Gaert releases version 2.0 we see some possibilities for alternative languages.

I saw that version 2.0 have been released. But I didn't find any info if it have the ability to make langauge packs.
Any who runs 2.0, could you chime in and tell us if it's possible?

It's not possible as of now and I doubt it will be possible in the near future.

Maybe it is easier to lern german - at least the part which is needed for using edomi. At the end it is just the workarea while designing logic and frontend. The frontend itself can be designed in english at all and the users will not have contact with the german part.

Probably faster than waiting for an english version... and brings you a positiv side effect for your next travel in Europe...

...that wasn't behind my words - I mean...just travelling arround from Scandinavia to wherever in Europe by car (NL, B, F, ES, AT, CH, PL,...) you pass Germany and it's quit helpfull to know what buzz-words like "Verwaltung", "Bearbeiten", "Neu", "Skizze", "Drehregler", "Notizen", "Beschriftung", "Eigenschaften", "Betriebsstundenzähler"... means... and that's helpfull, too in your wonderfull country and one of the most beautifull cities around of the world called Wien, Dariusz...

Especially that one is always very helpful to know when travelling through Germany! To be honest it was not the case for me in the past (yet!), but nevertheless I am pretty sure it will be in general

If I was you and really eager about it, I would start from my end, by creating the list of words to be translated.
A sign of seriousness and potentially the kick-off required to get something going. ...

I could definitely start doing that translation job (using google to help for sure), but I need to know if the software already support this and the location of the strings that needs to be translated.
Can you provide some guidance regarding this subject?
