Security email password

hello,
I'm using the eib-pc since a few weeks. Everything seems to work well. I have a question about the email function/ security. After configuring the email-settings, the password for the email account is in plain text in the default EibStudio program. Also in the menu Options_email-settings... the password remains readable. And when booting EibStudio, my email password is readable for a few moments in the application window, until a grey rectangle appears.
Is there a way to hide the password on all this/some places?

No, in the current version, the email password is in plain text stored in the config. Normally you won't share the config, so this shoulnot be an issue.

I have an extra email account for any of my two EibPCs. So everything is separated from any private communication. Thus I don't really worry about the password. If I'd have to use my private account's password the clear text in the code would really bother me. At least there is simple text file with program code somewhere accessible for family members in the computer system. Think about adventurous kids...

Thanks for your comments. I think creating another email-account will be the most secure option for this moment for me.
