Thank you for your suggestion which I think would work. I would, however, prefer to have a more solid/secure/independent option. One of the comments of users in the Android store was that he experiences sometimes unwanted triggers. Wouldn't that result in unwanted opening of the door? Furthermore, in my preferred solution, I would hand out key transponders to a number of people to allow access to my hose. In case I would be using a telephone program instead, I would have to have each of them use their phone and there would be sensitive access data in the app that they would be installing on their phone on my behalf.

Perry just stumbled over that post by coincidence: why don't you use an app like EgiGeoZone on your Smartphone that could automatically send an https and basic auth secured Webservice request to a central server in your house? that solution works perfectly fine for my front gate.

On another note, I am interested in secure ways to automatically open my electrically powered front door while leaving the key/smart tag in my pocket (like you can do with your car nowadays), preferably using KNX.

Do any of you know of a company that does this kind of trick and if this company is present at the L&B?

I know DOM used to have a system for this (their so-called 'Butler system'), but they abandoned the project several years ago.
