Version 1.8.3 auf Ubuntu, Demo generiert Fehler

Hallo zusammen

um openHab kennenzulernen, habe ich eine Ubuntu VM aufgesetzt und die aktuelle Version 1.8.3 von openHab runtergeladen. Bevor ich eigene Dinge konfiguriere, möchte ich das Demo zum Laufen zu kriegen. Ich habe alle Dateien im Demo ZIP an den entsprechenden Ort kopiert. Beim Start werden aber leider einige Fehlermeldungen angezeigt, die mit der Temperatur (von Yahoo) zu tun zu haben. Das Classic-UI kann ich aber im Browser anzeigen lassen.

Sollte das Demo nicht einfach so funktionieren? Woran könnte das liegen?

Yahoo hat die API geändert und verlangt nun immer einen oauth key. Nimm evtl einfach einen anderen Provider. Im Forum zu dem Plugin stand ein temporärer Fix auf eine andere Devel URL die noch so funktionierte. Evtl finde ich das noch wieder.

Danke, alles klar. Dann musst du keinen Aufwand mehr treiben das zu suchen, es ging mir nur darum ob ich ev. was falsch mache. Die eigentliche Funktion dieser Yahoo-Temperatur ist mir nicht wichtig.

Ok vergiss das, daß war ein Thema in 1.8.1 und wurde gefixed. Hast du deine "where on earth ID" rausgesucht wie in der Anleitung steht?

Ja, ich habe sogar versucht alles copy-paste aus dem Wiki zu übernehmen. Also die Item-Definition und die Einträge für die openhab.cfg von hier: https://github.com/openhab/openhab/wiki/Weather-Binding). Leider bleiben aber die oauth Fehlermeldungen erhalten.

Ich hab jetzt erfolgreich mein Netatmo angebunden und habe somit was zum Ausprobieren, das Yahoo brauche ich nicht mehr. Irgendwie aber schade dass die Demo nicht "out of the box" funktioniert, das ist natürlich nicht ein erfreulicher Start für potentielle Nutzer.
