Sorry but the thread below seems to address my question but Google translate does not do a good job in explaining it in English.


My question is if for example i want to call bbc radio via proserv:

Am I right in saying i need to install the bbc radio app on my phone. Then get the URL & put that in the proserv?

So it would read bbcradio://

Hi,
There are apps that might be called by means of the URL scheme, unfortunately not all does.
To test, if your app bbcradio:// can be called, you can open Safari on the device where the app is installed, then insert in the adress line "bbcradio://" (without apostrophe).
If the app can be called by the URL scheme it will open now.
To use the URL scheme with proServ you have to insert "bbcradio://" (without apostrophe) in one of the 20 URL schemes and use the appropriate index in the AUX URL-scheme function.

Thanks for the reply. Its working well. But i cannot seem to recall Skype app for some reason! Any idea?

Also when trying to connect the proserv as KNX interface, i keep getting the message

"The device cannot accept the new data connection because its maximum amount of concurrent connections is already used" in ETS5.

I have 2 iPad and one 1iPhone connected to the app. The app itself is working fine and i am able to control lights and heating. Is there a limit on number of device?

Hi Vimal,

Please do not use capital letters for the URL scheme.
"skype://" will work!
proServ supports 5 UDP tunnel connections (e.g. used for ETS) and 10 TCP connections for iKnix clients.
To use the 5 tunnel connections you have to press the program button until the prog LED is blinking.

One more query, please see the attached picture. On the left side you will see the weather (which has the date , this does not update! Unless i quit the app and reopen. So everyday in the morning i have to do this so it updates to the correct date weather, any help on this please?

This data is got from the weather code. Not through a KNX weather station.
