- √ - logging and Plots

First off Smart Visu is the best design I have yet seen in Open Source KNX visualizations.

However I have been struggling understanding how plots and logging is working.
I have a heating system which I can read from M-bus to KNX.
My plan is to control this heating system from SmartVisu according to current and coming weather conditions.

My initial plan was to develop something myself until I found SmartVisu.

1)how do I log knx variables to a database
2)been trying getting plots to work for the last few days, finally I did a clean install and found that plot's are not even working in any of the demo configs.

I use Raspberry Pi, with Smarthome.pi image, which I have tried both before and after upgrade form Smartvisu 2.5 to 2.6.

Any help would be greatly appreciated..

willkommen hier im Forum.

Das Basis-Image verfügt über in der DemoKonfig über einen funktionsfähigen Plot im 'Sleeping Room'.
Überprüfe das mal.

Strange enough the basis image works but Docu pages doesn't so I didn't notice as I tried Docu, Fleischer, etc...

still wondering how to log variables, and how to recall them.

Hallo John,

sieh Dir die smartvisu.conf in dem Ordner items an.

Dort wird "sqlite = yes" gesetzt. Damit wird das sqlite-Plugin aktiviert, das auch die Werte wieder liefert.
