SmartHome.py Monitor

Hi, I'm Stefano from Italy.

I have a working smarthome.pi installation updated to Smartvisu 2.7. I had to fix io_smarthome.py.js to get it working.

In SmartHome.py Monitor I see no data:


Do I made some mistake?

Hi Stefano!

You have to define the needed items within your smarthome.py configuration.
The file "smarthome.py.html" in the "pages/base" directory contains at the end a comment with the uses items.

Yes. If you use the "old" smarthome.py version (0.9).

In version 1.0 of smarthome.py the needed items are already defined and registred.

I update from smarcontrol page, and check here https://github.com/mknx/smarthome/tags but I can't find v 1.0
Why?

Just wait a little bit. 1.0 will be released soon. I have to do some final tests and then i will release 1.0 and a new Pi-Image.

I update from smarcontrol page, and check here https://github.com/mknx/smarthome/tags but I can't find v 1.0
Why?

Version 1.0 is "on the way". Probably you can download the new complete (beta) image for the raspberry (https://knx-user-forum.de/smarthome-...rthome-py.html)

Or, if you can't wait until the release of 1.0: With 0.9 you can
alternately use this "https://knx-user-forum.de/smarthome-...-auslesen.html"
all you have to do is to rename the items, so they match the names in the smarthome.py monitor and you have to define the items for sun and moon data (rise, set, position, moonphase, moonlight). This is described in the "smarthome.py" documentation.

you have to use the new image, but you could import your configuration and visualization via smartControl.
