    [Media] Türsprechanlage VoIP SIP

    Hi,

I've seen many posts about "Türsprechanlage".
Many use a proprietaty protocol or need a gateway or are difficult to integrate with KNX & HomeServer.

I'm looking for a simple solution, based on standards, where:
    - the video is easily integrated with the HomeServer, just like an ordinary webcam
    - the voice is compatible with VoIP Asterisk SIP
    - the push button is available under KNX for free programming
The device should of course be certified for outside usage.

Any recommendation or practical experience for this configuration, please ?

I'm about to build the portal, so I need to know what kind of cables are to be placed inside the walls (1xcat5e video/voice, 1xEIB push button, 1x2x0,8 light + ???

many users here use the Mobotix T24. In a minimal installation you only need a network cable CAT5 with Power over Ethernet. You cannot connect the push button to knx direct but with a homeserver you have the possibility to send a UDP Paket to the HS if someone presses the button.
    Mit freundlichen Grüßen

First of all, i think there isn't a really good solution out there. Mobotix T24 is one of the few ways to go, but has its snares. another product to have a look at is Divus Opendoor.

I'd go for Siedle (Scope) but it doesnt meet your "open and all" requirements.

You could also have a look at the Snom Pa1. Its a SIP phone which could be used to build your own Intercom. For Video you could use a regular network camera.

Indeed, I've seen it. It's close to what I want, but not ideal.

OK, fine. I guess "voice" is handled by the cam.

OK, that point wasn't clear in my mind. This solution makes the push button dependent on the HS, mmmh, OK.
Do you know of a ready-to-use device featuring the T24 ? Building & assembling a complete device might be trivial for you (close to the source) but is almost impossible while burried deep in rural France, hence a reference or a pointer is much appreciated.

That was my first conclusion, but not being an expert I thought it was worth a new thread. Also, on a forum with 15.200 members, I'm pretty sure someone has done it before me.

Are you meaning it has to be build & assembled with separate components (separate plate + camera + mounting hardware ? I've read a post about that, too complicated for me)

It was the first one I considered. Sure enough, it has a great design, but too proprietary. A pitty.

Never heard about it. I'll have a close look at it.
          Thanks for the pointer.

I'm unable to get any idea about the price.

            Someone has a pointer to a distributor/reseller, please ?

              Hi,

About Divus OpenDoor, did someone put it to work ?
The integration of the push button into KNX seems to be a problem, although I don't fully understand the implications.
              quote Divus
The OD-Sip has no physical pushbutton on it, but there is a screw terminal where external pushbutton can be connected. See in the attachment the actual manual for all details.
              Thanks for any practical feedback.

Just give Divus a call, they will help you.

I've dropped the Divus Opendoor (can't afford it), so I fall back on the Mobotix T24.

Any comments about that system, please ?

I've just come across a T24 configurator, it mentions a new module "Mx2wire".
If I get it right, that might be the solution ?

Fine ! Maybe an experienced user can help me.
The configurator shows a "digicode" as an option.
What is the output ? is it a dry contact ?

The Mx2wire Module is only for wiring the T24 with two leads instead of a network cable plus the contacts for the door opener are on the inside and therefore more secure against violence. IMHO it has no option to get the door bell button on knx. A possible solution may be to use a siedle push button and the IO module. The siedle module is usually wired with the IO module but you can wire it to a knx binary input as well.

There is a very long T24 Thread here. If you have no problems understandig german, this could be a good point to start with. Because my T24 is not installed, I only can tell you the things I have read here and in the manual on the mobotix site.
