[Elektro] Wiring the Hauptverteilung

Hello,

When I started wiring my electric distribution board "Hauptverteilung" (Hager Univer) I used solid wire HO7VU 2,5².
I realize now it was a bad idea.

I'm willing to re-wire the HV with flexible wires HO7VK or HO5VK, but I'm unable to find those wires in small lengths, everyone sells them in packs of 100m.

I'm looking for flexible wires HO7VK or HO5VK,
2,5² in 10m and 25m, colors: blue, black, red, brown
1,5² in 10m and 25m, colors: orange, violet

Anyone has a pointer to a webshop, please ?

I've already searched a lot before posting, and also checked eBay, but didn't find it. I realize the writing is misleading, I thought it was HO7V (letter O) not H07V

you can actually get that cable at conrad:

H07V-K PVC-Aderleitung 1 x 1.5 mm² Schwarz 100 m LappKabel im Conrad Online Shop | 606615

They also sell it by the meter.

I guess they deliver to France as well.

Conrad is (as usual) quite expensive, 0,45 to 0,49 cent/meter. At ebay you can get 10m for 22 cent/meter.

What is the difference between a HO5 VK and a HO7 VK ?
They look very similar

Hi!

In the "Hauptverteilung" you should only use the H07 wires.

The H05 has 1qmm at maximum. This is not enough.

Here in Germany you need 1,5qmm (better 2,5qmm) to wire the power distribution box in your House.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.
After searching like mad, I found this, it looks like the difference between H05 and H07 is the insulation voltage. Both type can be specified in many sections ranging from 0,75² to 6² and more.
Also, the correct name of the wire is H07 not HO7
