Gira Rauchmelder + gerätedose

Hello,

I've tried to look in the manual but can't find anything.
Iäm looking for to use the Gira Dual Q, with 230V socket "233102" but I need to know if I should use only pipe outlet or if I cn use a recessed box / gerätedose 70? 80? 100? millimeter size?

I will use the KNX module also!

My Gira Dual 230V sockets are mountet on 68 mm "Hohlwanddosen"="Gerätedose".

So the Hohlwanddosen is the same size as you install steckdosen and schalter inside.

Do you use KNX plugin for your smoke detector? Are you satisfied with the product?

Some users do use KNX plugins. And I do not know anyone who isn't satisfied.

I've looked at some pictures, and seems like there are 2 installations points, one seem to fit 68mm, the other is "knock out" and you have to open them your self, they look bigger.
Could anyone confirm that 80mm boxes made for ceiling will fit? Because it's quite small space I have, I can only use 35mm box, and normal for the ceiling is availble at 35mm deep, but they are 80mm wide.
The normal for steckdosen are normally much deeper, around 45mm.

If you have the chance to screw the socket otherwise than to the mounting box, you even do not need one!
