Hi!
Sorry to write in english, but I think I will only find answers to my question on your forum...
I have to replace a Warema SMI motor (DunkerMotoren, in fact) which fried after a thunderbolt near my house. The motor does not communicate anymore with the KNX ABB module. I opened the motor, and had a look at the electronic board, but didn't find anything obvious; I replaced the opto-couplers, without success. The micro-controller probably died. The motor itself is OK (I was able to make it turn by sending 24VDC).
My question is: once the motor is replaced, do I have to buy the specific cable from Warema to set the new endstops positions? Is it really a specific cable? Or is it something I can build myself? I don't know if the cable really send commands on the SMI bus, or if it is something much simpler... I already build a manual cable, in order to move the blinds before I connect them to my KNX installation (it just connect SMI lines to 230V, to move up or down), and I can modify it.
Is it something specific to each SMI brand, or is it universal?
Thanks for your help!
Frédéric
