    HS/FS qHSMon

    Hallo,

    Re-posting an old entry

When I run qHSMon, I get an error message about C++ libraries.
this application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way qt
I found the souces in the download area but I'm unable to compile them.

Someone be so kind to provide me with a .exe for Windows, please ?

    Thanks

Well, I've tried many files containing qHSMon, but I'm unable to make it work.
To me, it looks like al qHSMon are the same, I can't see a version number

Also, when running qHSMon, I see some text in the lower left corner, blinking very fast with a message about "KO" gateway.
Can someone help me configuring qHSMon, please ?

I understand some settings must match between the Experte setup and the qHSMon setup.
NB: I've used qHSMon many times before, no problem, but now I'm stuck

      Thanks

          Hello,
I'm still unable to run qHSMon. Everything looks OK, no error, it simply does not work.

Is it possible that it has to do with the fact that iETS is no more supported together with ETS5 ?
Or something wrong with the Port, any recommendation ?

If not, any clue about troubleshooting ?

            Hello,

Is there someone able to run qHSMon under ETS5 ?

From what I can tell qHSMon has no relation to ETS5. Out of curiosity I downloaded qHSMon on the PC which has ETS5 (Win8.1, ETS 5.5). It works fine. See attached screenshot for the settings that are important to make the connection between qHSMon and the HS.
(I did get an error message about the XML-file, simply clicked it away, it is not related to the issue you experience.)

OK, a least a point to rely on. I've made a wrong assumption based on the fact that 3 PCs exhibit the same behaviour.

Your picture is worth a thousand words ;-)
Although I haven't made it work yet, I feel better (having the nose above water :-) )
                What is this "absender 1 2 3 ..." for ?
I thought it is just a reply address
I left it at null, which might not be a good idea

When I first got the HS, it was set up remotely by the company I purchased it from. These first four addresses were used by them. The unit is no longer supported by them so I disabled these addresses. The fifth address I think allows access from anywhere. I don't have an issue with that, as the device sits behind a firewall. I guess I could change it to my local LAN.

To allow access from this Network adresses. If zou wont allow all, set Aress and Network to 0.0.0.0

Vento66's response got a bit scrambled I think. From what I know, a sender with the IP address 0.0.0.0 and the net mask 0.0.0.0 enables access with any desired IP address. So, if I would want to limit it to my LAN only, I think I need to set these fields as 192.168.x.0, and 0.0.0.255 (where x is the actual number I use for my LAN address range).

Btw, what was your 'mistake', it may help others in the future to troubleshoot if they have a similar issue.

I was working based on data on a piece of paper that had not the same data as in the HS (I forgot I had made a download)
