Eben.. Genau das meine ich. Obwohl die "Beweisführung" bei den einzelnen Icons schon sehr ordentlich aussieht, sind hier IMHO 15 Meinungen besser als eine.

Etliche Symbole haben ihren Ursprung da Symbol Signs — AIGA | the professional association for design - und sind tatsächlich Public Domain.

OK, I'll do (but Chrome, no thanks, Google did leave me in the cold when there were problems with their forum software)
Also, I'm really scared about installing new stuff on a running system. I've been working for years in IT... and spending 3-4 days to repair a broken system ... just because a DLL killed the thing... ûh... no thanks

Wow, Klasse!
Eine Sache: da steht zwar irgendwo es ist "free", glaube ich auch, aber einen globalen Lizenztext ausser dem CC-Logo unten konnte ich nicht finden..
Hat jemand alle schonmal durchgeklickt ob irgendwo was anderes als Public Domain oder CC steht ?

No, better to forget about it! one-way street. SVG is a well-established standard (funny enough, just one Browser missed it..)

FF, Chrome, other Webkit variants, there are really plenty working alternatives for any OS available
Let MS work on the next alpha-version (9) while they havent nearly finished the last three (8,7,6), lay back and just surf with working, standards-compliant software

These are SVG-icons. Your browser has to support this. Firefox does, for IE 8 you need a plugin.
