You don't need an IP router then, an IP interface is enough. I'd suggest a Siemens N148/22: IP Interface 5WG1148-1AB22 [5WG1148-1AB22] - €169.90 : enertex bayern gmbh, Online-Shop
It can handle 4 IP->KNX tunnel connections at the same time.
I though so but wasn't sure.

    Thanks everyone.

I will look into the various suggestions.

    Regards,
    Mike

I need a device to access the bus, programatically read and set device values (with .NET for example) that
is fast and reliable. I do not need it to have web control or visualizations built in.

You could also get an TPUART and a WireGate. Although it's not certified as an KNX IP Router it can easily function as one.

The WireGate is also a very low power (5W) x86 computer that can run your code so that you can read and write programmatically the KNX.

Recommend KNX Router Elsner (Elsner Elektronik GmbH Elsner Elektronik) and Weinzierl (www.weinzierl.de).
Both are identical in construction with very good support.

Currently addressable with an IP address. Soon to 5 IP addresses.

    KNX IP Router

    Hi all.

First of all sorry for writing in English but my German knowledge is zero.

I am very new to KNX and I would like to start 'playing' with the bus.
For that I need an IP router. I see a lot of them but I don't know where they differ.
For example, what is the difference between:
    - Gira's 103000 IP Router (Gira KNX/EIB-IP-Router)
    - Weinzierl's IP Router BAOS 770 (Weinzierl Engineering GmbH - KNX IP BAOS 770)
    and
    - Eibmarkt's IP Interface (eibmarkt.com - EIB KNX IP Interface PoE)

I need a device to access the bus, programatically read and set device values (with .NET for example) that
is fast and reliable. I do not need it to have web control or visualizations built in.

    Which one should I get?

    Thanks.

    Regards,
    Mike
