    HS/FS HomeServer and Debug

    Hello,

Looking at the HS Debug, I see several Q counters.
I seem to remember about values (min & max) for those counters, but can't find it back
    Any pointer, please ?

Another request: is there any tool to diagnose duplicate address ?
or any tool to help troubleshooting an installation ?

    Thank you for any help.

    Hi Raymond!

Duplicate addresses: The Homeserver does not allow duplicate group addresses. You may capture the same address for several internal objects in the HS-Experte, but before you transfer the project to your HS the project is checked and it will not transfer if you have duplicate addresses.

(names of objects may occur multiple times, there is no option to avoid this, so you must keep an eye on that manually)

For trouble shooting the eib-monitor (hslist and then "eibmon" as list type) can help you. But it shows only all objects which have a group address, so for the internal objects in the hs you can add group addresses at a bulk (open communication objects, extras, assign group addresses. Select a start address which is very high and out of the range you use, so you can delete those addresses after finishingt troubleshooting). I used it to detect loops in my logics (the eib monitor lists the last 500 actions and if you see some objects which are written many times in that interval, you should have a look on them).
Möchte den Komfort meiner Installation nicht mehr missen!

      OK
Maybe I should be more precise and bring some context.

      I've network 1.1.x and 1.0.x and a HS
According to info from this forum, old interfaces are no more supported under 4.
      I've a RS232, FT 1.2, Gira USB, Siemens N148
I understand that RS232, FT 1.2 should be removed
But on witch network should I put the Gira USB (Siemens N148)
Can you please, help me with a good config ?

      Thank you

It looks like my network melt down, part of the devices are ON, the other are OFF
I've no control over my network anymore.
        Any help appreciated
