    MTN/MEG6215-0310 Multitouch Pro 3.0

Anyone with some experience with these?

I am currently planning the KNX installation for my home. For the switches and sockets I will be using Jung A or LS series, but Jung F40 and F50 RTC units provide very little additional functionality and are quite expensive for their feature set - no touch screen, no additional dry contact or NTC inputs...
Heating will be underfloor water heating with gas boiler and cooling will be split wall and ducted units in main rooms (can also act as second stage heating, if needed).

So I am looking at the available options for the RTC units that would fit in 55mm frames from Jung and SE/Merten 6215-0310 touch screens seem to be a viable option that is currently available at very competitive prices.

However after looking at these in ETS and reqding their manuals I have a few questions:
    - are MEG6215-0310 (Merten) and MTN6215-0310 (Schneider) exactly same hardware and firmware, or is there any difference between them?
    - how precise are their temperature measurements and do they suffer from innacurate temperature reading when the screen is on and self-heats?
    - since my heating does not have fans (underfloor), will the device hide fan speed control screens when in heating mode?
    - how responsive are the screens? The available videos are all rendered promotional material and not actual screens in action...

    Thanks,
    Jekabs

I have two of them but are not very happy... The official videos all seem to be rendered an do not represent the real look of the display (display resolution, smoothness of animations, etc.). The touchscreen is not as responsive as one would expect these days (biased from smartphones, of course that is). I often need to tap twice, especially when the display was in sleep mode before. Smaller buttons and sliders need to be touched quite precisely, here the reactive areas could be a bit larger (or „magnetic“). Also the display size is significantly smaller than the black area. On the plus side: Easy to configure and install, customizable icons, wide range of functions. I would recommend getting one online, test it for a week and then decide whether you keep it or return it within the 14 day limit.

Something more general: I have also tested the MDT Glastaster II with the glass sensor buttons. I can‘t get used to touch surfaces as they don‘t give tactile feedback. Also I always have to look before switching, can‘t feel the right button when walking past... I think I will therefore go for the MDT Smart 86 which has physical buttons.

    best,
