hi,

I'm looking for a way to grant access to (temporary) users of an appartment, based on a code, RFID, or something else (safe). The problem is: access control should be manageble from distance by the owner of the appartment.
So he should be able to grant access to people ho use the appartment for a holiday

Maybe the Mobotix T24 ? Any other ideas ? There''s an internet connection and a HomeServer with KNX infra.

i´m using RFID (which is not high secure - but: how save is a code?)
I manage the RFID-keys with logic and my visu (for example: the cleaning personal can use their key only on dedicated days, frends have keys for holidays - usualy they are deactivated....).

i use a cheap reader connected via RS485 to wiregate (see codeschnipsel)

Look here for many different RFID-Readers.
