KNX/EIB no complete programming

Hi all,

First of all, my german isn't that good, so I hope nobody minds that I ask the questions in English.

I have an existing programming(on cd)that is not complete,i see on the building drawing that there is an physcal address 1.1.13,but in ets 4 i don't see the address.So i think the programming on the cd is not the latest programming.

Now i have to add only 1 contact(actor 1.1.1 ausgang 15) to the groep address "alles aus".

If i do a partial download on actor 1.1.1 (because i only want to add 1.1.1 ausgang 15 to "alles aus")does he add only that action,or does he rewrite the groep address "alles aus"?

If he rewrite's the groep address "alles aus" and there is a action from 1.1.13 in it(what's not in my programming on the cd)then i have a problem because i don't know what the actions of 1.1.13 are.

You may do a partial or a complete download of your participant 1.1.1. This will not influence the actions of 1.1.13. However you should not change any number of group adresses!

Just forget one point:
Unfortunately you cannot make sure that the programming of 1.1.1 has not been changed within the two versions. So probably you have to test every output of 1.1.1 after reprogramming.

thanks for your answer, I just changed the programming and everything is working properly,and there are no strange things going on.

The program works exactly as before(actor 1.1.1 ausgang 15 is working properly), so luckily there's nothing changed in actor 1.1.1 between the two versions.

Before i was downloading the programm,i did a bus monitoring and a group monitoring to found out what physcal address 1.1.13 actually does,but i was only getting strange hardware errors.
I think the error messages appear because there is no 1.1.13
in my programming,but he is present in the system(bus).

The whole problem description looks fuzzy to me. As number 5 would say: "Need more input"

Before i was downloading the programm,i did a bus monitoring and a group monitoring to found out what physcal address 1.1.13 actually does,but i was only getting strange hardware errors.

So you see group addresses sent from a 1.1.13. Are ther no devices that ar enot configured from the ETS ? A visualization for example ? Old complex devices as the first generation of Merten Plantec,... which are configured with an external tool.

What kind error do you see ? And when ? During the monitoring ? the programming ? ...
