I need to setup water leaking sensors in multiple locations with those constraints:
- no electricity plug nearby
- no KNX TP bus nearby
I had found the Siemens QFP910 but it is not supported anymore. I also found lots of solutions from Eve, Fibaro, etc. But they are not KNX-based, so require a bunch of gateways/bridges, which increase the risk that one of the components doesn’t work when sh*t happens…
But then, I found those TRM702A by Hager, that seem to provide KNX-RF connectivity, with open-potential inputs AND a battery, all in one package! https://hager.com/intl-en/products/i...powered-knx-rf
So, I was wondering if I could combine this with any leak sensor that I’d put on this input and hook the thing to KNX through RF.
What are your thoughts on this? Any advice? Mistakes not to do?
Thanks!
