KNX Konfiguration Ohne ETS

Hallo alle,

Ich kann Deutsch lesen aber ich kann nicht ganz gut schreiben.
Ich glaube sie können aber english verstehen.

I am very new to the knx world, we want to start to design a building automation system.

We baught the KNX standart, but it is not clear for me wheter i can manage the knx network without ETS.

I mean can i change group addresse (like doing with ETS). Create a new group address and assosiate with any device (not with E-mode).

How can i use s-mode without ETS.
Can i create my own ETS like monitoring software with Falcon.

Do you only want to monitor the bus? This should be no problem using Falcon, but i never did that. I know that this is really easy with eibd, cause it comes with a demo program that does monitoring.

You could also change group addresses or even paramters or whole applications using Falcon or eibd, but that doesnt seem to be a good idea.

Actually i want both (monitoring and changing)

We want to create a monitoring tool which is also capable to change group address relationships.

So user can also modify the grouppes.

You mean we can use falcon or eibd also for run-time network mangement and configuration.
