Hello,
I am trying to setup a Dimmer object in the QuadClient (Toggling mode). The function template provided by the HS requires i) a switch group, ii) a brightness value group and iii) a dim group.
In ETS, my Dimmer object (Hager) has a number of outputs, including two for the dimmer percentage:
- One that can be read/write that represents the percentage (8 bits) of the dim value but which does NOT sends notifications whenever the value changes
- One with the Transmit flat that sends a 8 bits percentage notification anytime the value of the dim gets changed.
Consequently, if I simply wire the first one to my Dimmer template, I can operate my dim but the dim percentage does NOT reflect the value that would be set by other systems (wall switches, etc.)
How can I do to build a new "virtual object" that would somehow "merge" the two objects above i.e. enable to read/write AS WELL AS receive notifications in the same group so that I could assign it to my template?
Thanks for your help!
