Can you control the HS visu by browser?

No, just the same as the client.
I've tested from another PC, with the client from RC; same thing. Funny to note that, for a dimmer, the Visu show the % brightness, but the lamp is not on.

What does the debug page say?

Heuu, don't know where to look.
Any particular item you want to know ?

I've seen this, but I don't think it is related to my problem

Mmmm, don't know the version, the properties doesn't say.
Iit is the one unzipped from the kit, found in C:\Program Files\GIRA\HS+FS\exp22\tools\client hsclient.exe 01/02/2008 09:28

Hi,

I've just done the upgrade (from the first RC). I think I've closely followed the procedure, up to restore the project and re-boot.
No problem.

When I use the client, I see the Visu, but I can take no action.
When I click on an icon, nothing happens, no error pop-up, nothing, it is as if the KO are disconnected from the icons. One icon takes the status feed-back from the KO (instead of from the actuator) and the display toggles, but no action is taken.

I guess I made something wrong or forgot something, but can't see it.
Thank you for any troubleshooting hint.

I'm more and more scared about the HS.
To my dismay, I noticed that DaCom didn't bother to translate the ReadMe file to english (although not an overhelming effort, imho)

darf ich fragen welchen stand das update hat, und wo ich es runterladen kann. bei dacom ist die version 2.1 auf der hp leider finde ich hier im forum unter download keine dateien wenn ich auf hs firmware gehen.

Öhm, mit Doppelklick auf die .bat funktioniert das zumindest bei mir nicht .

Also schön manuell in den entsprechenden Pfad gehen und von dort starten.

Kopiere den firmware-Ordner doch mal in ein vernünftiges verzeichnis. C:\temp zum Beispiel.

ich habe heute abend auch versucht das update durchzuführen.

Jedoch bin ich gescheitert. Ich bin wie auf den Bildern zusehen vorgegangen.

Habe auch nur eine usb-rs232 schnittstelle

Was mache ich falsche ?

Habe heute bei meinem HS auch die Firmware aktualisiert. Ohne Probleme. Morgen geht es dann zu den Kunden. Benutze einen Laptop mit XP und USB Schnittstelle und Wandler auf Com2.

Zu meiner Entschuldigung muss ich sagen, dass ich nur meinen eigenen HS pflege (und liebe) und deshalb mit Firmware Updates noch keine großen Erfahrungen habe

Ich wollte den "schnellen" Weg gehen...

1. Firmwareupdate downloaden
2. entzippen
3. gleich im Ordner "Firmware" die Firmwareupd1.exe starten...

so geht es aber nicht!

Richtiger Weg (ich habe gelernt...)

1. Nach dem entzippen muss man zuerst den neuen Experten installieren
2. DANN im Installationspfad vom Experten den Ordner Firmware öffnen
3. UND DORT die entsprechende Firmwareupd .exe starten
4. Anweisungen folgen und gut

Klar, dass man danach das Projekt neu einspielen muss!
