Is there any way to measure line impedance (Zl) and earth loop impedance (Zs) at the end of line where MDT AKD phase dimming actuator is used?
Have tried with both the load (LEDs) connected and load disconnected, but whenever measurements are done, the dimming actuator disconnects the channel and starts blinking red light indicating the load error. This happens before the tester can finish the test. Perhaps there are some combination of the actuator parameters that would allow the measurements?
Measurements are done using Benning IT 130 and IT 200 multifunctional testers. Not sure what current is used for loop tests, but when testing earth loop in the RCD non-trip mode the current cannot exceed RCD limit, so certainly will not exceed maximum of 200W per dimming actuator channel.
Bypassing the actuator during the test is also not desirable because it would 1) take extra effort 2) measurement would not reflect the actual wiring in the distributor.
