I use the Gira DCS-Communicator to answer the doorbell (video & audio feed + opening electric lock).
I was experimenting with the "Windows 8" operation system. It has a new user interface ("Metro") which is very convenient for touch devices. The downside is... the Gira DCS-Communicator does not seem to be compatible with it. If someone is at your door, you hear the audio-signal, but the DSC-Communicator software does not pop up in the Metro interface. Instead, you manually need to go to the "old" user interface to see who is at your door.
Anyone has the same experience? Who has a workaround? Anyone heard from Gira when it will be Windows 8 compatible?
