Die eingegebene Gruppen-Adresse is nicht eindeutig
it might occur, when you create a GA in the HS, which exsist already in the ETS.
Usually, when I work on an extension of my project, I create first the GAs in ETS, make sure it works and finally export the data.
In the HS, when I import the data, no error message. In the HS, I don't create GAs manually.
I don't understand how this problem could happen.
Understand. I think it is the case. At the ETS level, everything seems OK
One thing is sure, all errors are related to my last modification.
How could I start troubleshooting ?
A long time since i last worked with good(?) old homeserver.
If I remember correctly you can just click on the error-message and the faulty com-object opens. you have to merge the 4 com-objects and end up with just one with the address 0/1/3.
Change all components that use one of the 3 objects youll delete to your single surviving one. You find the components by attempting to delete the object, which will result in an error mentioning that its still referenced. in the main window you find a list of the references which you can click and get navigated to the referencing component...
Doubleclick in the Message with "Test3 0/1/3" and you go automaticly to the Page with this Entry. Rename "Test3 0/1/3" to an Free GA, and it should work.

OK
Thank you both for this to-the-point reply
I followed your advice and renamed every faulty KO to a free GA (from 0/1/200 and up)
Indeed the errors are gone (ouf) but while looking at the Kommunikationobjekte view, things are bizarre
i.e. in the group range "Motors" 0/5/x, I see the newly renamed GA, i.e. 0/1/20x. Bizarre, it is as if the system "remembers", but duplicate GAs are impossible, so ....
I'll try to sort it out, although I still fail to understand how this mess happened in the first place, that means I could potentially make the same mistake twice
Maybe I should tell the whole story since the beginning ?
So, I had 3 motorized curtains, controlled by 3 channels of a Jalo
In ETS, it was setup in group range 4 "Motors On/Off"
0/4/81 and up for the ground floor
0/4/91 and up for the 1st floor
0/4/101 and up for the 2nd floor
This was working fine in ETS and the HS, Visu and HomeCinema Sequenz
The curtains could not be stopped in the middle, it was designed for the HomeCinema. My chief architect ... decided that it should be possible to open the curtains just a little bit.
So, in ETS, I created new GAs in group range 5 "Motors variable"
0/5/121 and up for the ground floor
0/5/131 and up for the 1st floor
0/5/141 and up for the 2nd floor
This was working fine in ETS
I exported the GAs to a .esf file, deleted everything except the newly created GAs in the 0/5xx range.
Import in the HS, no problem. Deleted each old association and assigned it to the new GA, no problem.
Download ... bardafff ... plenty of errors
In a desperate attempt to cure the problem, I renamed the GAs to 0/1/xx, no luck, it's even worse.
Where is my mistake(s), although there could be more then one
You can (obviously) screw up your "Kommunikationsobjekte" (which btw is the wrong term, should be "Gruppenadressen") when importing with the wrong options selected. Im sorry cant help you with this, i have successfully forgotten nearly everything about the homeserver.
You can (obviously) screw up your "Kommunikationsobjekte"
Yes, I'm very good at that although it's not the case here, I think
I'm still puzzled by the fact that there are 0/5/x GAs under the group 0/4/x.
Could it be that this is due to the fact that those Gas were originally at the right place under group 0/4/x but have been renamed while solving the "Gruppen-Adresse is nicht eindeutig"
If that's true, the procedure is somewhat ...
So the only way I see now is to delete all concerned GAs and re-import them fresh from ETS.
I'm still puzzled by the fact that there are 0/5/x GAs under the group 0/4/x.
The folder-names in the HS have no meaning, they are just names. Unlike in ETS where the folders are a hierarchical structure with meaning.
If you change a groupaddress in the HS, it will not be moved to another folder, in ETS it would be moved. Also the ETS (it's a database-manager after all) ensures the uniqueness of a GA, HS doesnt. (it treats them a an error though)
