IR-Remotecontrol

We extend the normal Visu with the functionality to operate with a IR-Remotecontrol (RC) in the Internet Explorer.

When you use the HS RemoteVisu,with the cursor-keys of the rc, you easy navigate to the next "push-buttons" in selected direction.
With OK and other keys you operate.

You have additional Visu-PopUps and all the other masks realized as PopUps.


You can buy the Microsoft IR Control for small money on the marked.
This is a kit with RC and IR-Reciever for USB.

We also added scripts to integrate a program-symbol in Windows Media Center.

For Internet Explorer you need a PC, thats right

Can someone be so kind to give a word of explanation about this new functionality ?
The pre-requisites above list the software requirements, but what about the hardware ? (maybe any IR receiver ?)
I understand what a IR remote control is, but don't see how it works in conjunction with the Visu. Normally, there should be some kind of IR receiver at the Visu ?

Die Bedienung dieser Visualisierung erfolgt vollstandig mit einer IR- oder Funk-Fernbedienung. Basis ist der Microsoft Internet Explorer oder wahlweise das Windows Media Center. Hiermit bekommt der Gira HomeServer/FacilityServer eine neue Dimension in der Bedienung.
Die Version wird als Release Candidate veröffentlicht.

Voraussetzungen ist der aktuelle Experte und die Firmware.
