HS/FS Experte 4 on HS2

The first sentence I read from the changelog.

"The Expert Software 4.0 must be used in conjunction with HomeServer 4/FacilityServer."

I thought it was a common software for all versions of the HomeServer.

Yes, it can be used on every HS except the ones that boot from CD.

So Expert 4.0 runs on the black HS2, HS3, FS, HS4.

Hi MatthiasS,

I guess the main reason why there is no more upgrade for the HS2.0 NET is the lack of memory and flash.

I do have upgrade my HS2.0 Net a while ago with meanwhile 512MB RAM and 4 GB IDE Flash, as well as with a 1,2 GHz CPU.

So it`s technical close to a HS4 :-)

However, I still do need a boot cd, which isn`t longer provided form Gira with actual Software.

My question: isn`t it possible, to change the Flash from 3 partitions to 4 partions and copy the files from CD to the secound partition ?

Then it should work again, close to a HS3.

Any Ideas ?

I guess, I am not the only one here in this forum interested in a solution, or ?
