Historisches (KNXnet/IP ,EIBnet/IP und EIBlib/IP)

Hallo!

Wie hängen die drei Begriffe KNXnet/IP ,EIBnet/IP und EIBlib/IP zusammen. Also mein jetziges Wissen ist das KNXnet/IP der derzeitige Standard ist und dass die anderen beiden irgendwie Vorgänger sind.
Könnte ihr mir vielleicht den Historischen Verlauf des ganze etwas erläutern. Ist es vielleicht eh ganz einfach und EIBlib/IP ist Vorgänger von EIBnet/IP, dieses wiederum ist Vorgänger von KNXnet/IP, oder ist das ganze doch etwas komplizierter (anders)?

Eiblib/IP was the proprietary protocol that was used by EIBA between iETS Client and iETS Server. The iETS Server was originally only available as software from EIBA, but has become available as hardware, such as in the Siemens AP146.

Afterwards, the work on a common, open (=non-proprietary) solution has started. The solution was named EIBnet/IP, was registered like that and was also the word used in standardisation.
When EIBA became KNX Association, EIBnet/IP was renamed to KNXnet/IP.
So, EIBnet/IP and KNXnet/IP are the same, but the word EIBnet/IP is no longer used officially.

NOTE KNXnet/IP is actually a protocol suite. It has sufficient encoding space for various protocols for various use cases. Known today already are a.o. KNXnet/IP Tunneling and KNXnet/IP Routing.
