Alarm system with Gira HomeServer 3

Hello,

Someone know how to make an alarm system with the Gira HomeServer 3 and KNX?

I currently have contacts for windows /doors , and detectors, and I wan't to know if it's possible to retrieve this information via SMS / E- Mail to a defined period ( when the alarm is active ) ?

The goal is to have the following features:
1 . Have the ability to enable / disable notifications / alarms (if I 'm home , I do not wish to receive SMS / E- Mail for an open window/door).

2 . When I leave my house and when I activate the alarm: I would like to be informed if windows/doors are left open.

3 . When I am outside , and the alarm is activated: I would like to be notified via SMS if a window was opened during my absence.


If someone has an idea, I'm interested.

Sure, no problem: All you need is to set up the HS for sending emails - and you need an email2sms-gateway as well. There are several services - just google for it.

It's easy to configure the alerts, that's not the problem..

But I want to manage it with a push button (enable the alerts when I go out and disable them when I come home)..

Is it possible and how to do that?

??? With a piece of logic… maybe?! Just configure your push-button to send a value on a GA, when it's pushed.

Hi Marco,
I am not sure if I understand you right.
My opinion and my experience is: To implement the alarm function in an KNX environment it's best to combine two boxes and some smaller units (key switch, sensors etc.).
The one box is an "(KNX-)alarm central unit" with alarmspecific functionality. The other box is the Gira Homeserver. The two boxes should work together. With the Gira Homeserver you may implement all logic you need. It has the capability to initiate phonecalls, to send SMS and to e-Mails and so on. The "alarm central" unit keeps your house under surveillance and detects and signals intrusion attempts.
A Homeserver-only solution is possible too. Bu you have to implement a lot of logic and you would not reach the reliability and security of an "alarm central unit".
Helpful could be to read Productinformation but also installion- and operating instructions of "alarm central units", available in various languages in the web, from companies as Jung, Berker, Gira, Telenot, ...

I don't need a knx alarm central.
I just need to enable/disable e-mail/sms notifications with a push-button, using the HS Logic Editor.

I think it's simple, but I don't know which function of the HS Logik to use for that..
Can someone send me an example picture with one HS Logic function?

The functions:
1. Check if the alarms are enabled/disabled (via push button).
2. If the alarms is enabled (via push button), Check if the contact is open or closed and send an e-mail.

Hello,

My problem is resolved..

I use 2 inputs (1x my button to enable/disable Alarms + 1x the window/door contact), i connect the input to a AND function, and I connect the AND output on a binary trigger (to check the value), then I connect the output (send email) to the output of binary trigger..

All works fine.. I put a screenshot of the function tomorrow..

It makes no Sense to include a binary trigger. The Output of the AND does the Same.

Yes, you're right, it's not necessary for the basic function.. But I use it for other thing..

Does someone know how to send a function On/Off, every sunday at 15h using logical editor?

When I press the button (enable alerts), i shut all lights OFF (general OFF), and I put the termostat to night mode.. I wan't to automaticlly put the termostat to day mode on sunday, 15h.. (Whitout the UZSU)..

Can someone make me a screenshot of the logical function?
