Gira HomeServer - Problem with e-mail alerts

    Hello,

Yesterday, I configured e-mail alerts (windows contact) via the HS logical editor, and all worked fine.

Today, the e-mails don't come, and in the e-mail section of the debug file, I have this informations:

    Last Mail Ok 11.12.2013 15:03:58
    Last Mail Err ?
    Status OK
    Server mail.infomaniak.ch
    Absender ******@******.com
    Ziel******@hotmail.com
    Versendet 0
    Abgewiesen 1
    Veraltet 0
    Connected 1
    Dauer Connected Min:5.592 Max:5.592 D:5.592 Akt:0.000/0.000/5.592
    Warten 1 0
    Warten 2 0
    Warten 3 0

    I can't send e-mails..
Can someone help me to resolve this problem, please?

    Best Regards!

    Hello,

I just test it with another receiver e-mail (who is not @Hotmail.com), and it works..

Does someone know how to resolve definitely that and using @Hotmail.com as receiver?

    Thank you very much!

      What does this mean ?

I guess, you don't have a problem with the HS but with the mail server you are using. I think, it is not relaying mails to external adresses (what is good, as it otherwise would be an open mail relay).

You may either use authentication with the mail server (if configured) to enable sending mails to external or use an different external mail server with this functionality and proper login data for it. Or simply address the mails to internal mail boxes, what you might have done already.

      Greetings
      Hartmut

        Hello,

"I configured e-mail alerts (windows contact)" mean:
When a contact of a window or a door is closed, an e-mail is sent.

This problem is resolved. I use another e-mail server, and it works fine.
I think Hotmail is restricted and drop all e-mails from the HomeServer.

        Best regards!
