HS logic: basic question about file management

The only way, and so I did with hs2wav and wetter2hs, is to send an IP telegram to your external application, make some calculations and deliver the result back the same way.

I did not dive too deep into HS logic yet, but since I'm a software developer at my second task beside working on my house (or was it the other way around? ) I would definitely favour scripting over the logic editor.

Any prophecies on when this could become reality? So that one can decide what tasks to delay...
