I need some help on the best way to do this:
I have a Nuvo multi-zone amp that I want to control with HS and be synchronized with my custom whole-house app. Basically when I change a value in HS (volume for example) it notifies my app which sets the volume of the zone. When I change the volume on my app... it notifies HS to update the volume value. The control is basically Zone on/off, Volume and Input for each zone.
I've created all the objects and values in HS and everything works well EXCEPT:
When I change the volume outside HS in my app... it notifies HS to update the object's value but then, since the object value has changed, HS notifies the app back of the new value.
So... I have an extra jump I would like to avoid.
Is there any way or any logic that can stop this from happening?
