LK + kein Programmierzugriff über UL

Hallo,

ich dachte ich hätte hier im Forum mal gelesen dass es Linienkoppler gibt, die sich - neben der Filtergeschichte - nicht von der untergeordneten Linie aus programmieren lassen, sondern nur von der Hauptlinie.

Mit der Suche hab ich nix gefunden. Hab ich das nur geträumt oder gibt's das wirklich? Macht das jeder LK so oder sind das nur einige wenige die das "können"?

In den Datenblättern zu einzelnen LKs hab ich dazu nix gefunden.

Vielleicht die alten System 1 Geräte. Da war was in der Art.

Leuchtet mir nicht ein warum das die Hersteller in den LKs nicht berücksichtigen. Wäre schließlich ein wichtiges Sicherheitsfeature für "außenliegende" KNX Linien.

One should basically be able to program Couplers from either side.
It may be that a manufacturer has manufacturer specific parameters that prevent from this, but this is "extra" to the KNX requirements.
Security can be given by typical parameters that prevent from passing broadcast - and point-to-point Telegrams and by possibly locking the Coupler with a device password.

Did anyone say that this is (or should) NOT an extra to the KNX requirements?

All I asked: Is there a device out that that supports this, and "why do manufacturers do not implement it?

That's exactly the point. But only if the device supports it. And it seems that only a few (if any) provide this parameter?! Or do you have a list of devices that support this behavior?

P2P is not applicable for my scenario. And devices which support password-locking... In theory, yes. In practice the number of devices which support this and also fit to the other requirements of project tend against 0.
