Hello,
I have a problem with getting feedback through Gira softwares (HS Expert & QuadClient). If I understood correctly, I have to use the one main communication object, and two sub-elements of HS Expert, from the Objects imported from ETS.
Here is what I would like to achieve :
1. Objective :
Be able to have my iPhone GIRA application with correct values of diming % for my entry lamp. Should I start the GIRA program, or change value of the lamp from wall buttons.
Here is what I have :
2. ETS configured addresses :
a. 1/1/2 : Sending value on the KNX bus over this address SETS that value to the lamp, for example if I send 70%, the lamp is at 70% of brightness.
b. 1/1/3 : FeedBack value address where I can see the actual 70%. Sent from the ABB element, and can be gotten as well by a read demand on this address.
Here what is imported :
3. HS Expert importation : All above plus many other addresses, in “Communication Objects”
What I suppose :
4. Playing around with :
a. One main address Object, I suppose the one feeding the bus with the message 1/1/2.
b. Two kind of sub-objects of this main one could be used in HS Expert (those are the one I don’t understand how to use) :
i. Watch address
ii. Central address (Listening)
I’m very sorry but all I tried resulted in a big failure… Can anyone help me?
With all my wishes for Xmas and Year 2015,
Daric
