Hi.
I have a Gira 1031 00 KNX dimmer (50-500w) that I use in one of the rooms.
I have 10 light points connected to it.
When I use regular 40w halogen lamps... the dimmer works perfectly.
However when I use 9w led lamps the dimmer starts to fade off and the light turns off at arround 75% power. It seems it cannot dimm further than 75%.
I know this is normal because of the minimum load of the dimmer but my questions are:
- Are there any kind of led lamps that would perform better? What wattage would be best?
- I know that newer dimmers can dimm leds but I do not want to replace this one. Is there any 'wattage reducer' I can connect between the dimmer and the lamps to make it work?
Thanks.
