By starting Experte 2.2RC today, I get an error message
"Kein gültiges projekt"
It was working yesterday, and I haven't modified anything special.

hallo raymond,
geh in den folder proj. öffne die hs3 datei mit einem editor.
schau dir dort die letzte zeile an. es müsste dort <@end>
stehen. steht das nicht dort, ist die datei defekt.
das heisst, du musst auf die letzte sicherung zurück greifen.
When I double click on the Experte icon, I see the progress bar. The message pops-up at +/- 70% of the progress bar. Then it comes with another display of available projects "Projekte verwalten"
Check if the Experte is correctly configured to Homeserver or Facilityserver! See "Stammdaten","Projekt","Projekteinstellungen".
I think I cannot do that, as the Experte doesn't load fully. Anyway, I din't bring any change to the config itself. But I rember to have had a power failure, very common here. Which should do any harm, if I'm not writing to disk at that moment.
It gives a warm feeling to see that people take care of my misery.
Ah , how do you know ? It's a bizarre coïncidence as I'm using the Experte since a year, without any glitch (except my own mistakes). I'd love such a coïncidence next time I play a Lotto
But there is hope, I see 2 .bak files in the folder, maybe I should rename the most recent an try it ?
You already won the jackpot! The new Experte now has the .bak-auto-save-feature and you should be able to restore your project. With the old experte you were lost.
But I am sure, you make backup of this extremly important file every day, isn't it?

Maybe a very dumb question, but...
The normal way is to create a project and upload it to the HS2.
And the reverse is not possible ? In my case, the HS is working perfectly well, I just lost the source of the project.
Yet another question, even more dumb.
There is no "repair or rebuild "function available ?
Sometimes an application can recover from a crash based on temporary work files, registry entries, user settings etc
Maybe a very dumb question, but...

I understand it will not be possible in the future due to your decision of not implementing this feature. This decision might eventually impact the future usefullness of the product.
I persist to think that it IS technically possible, as other products DO offer this feature.
