quad-client beginner

sorry to put so many questions on this board, i have so many questions....

After trying to get a visu based on the example, and putting a lot of time to get everything lined up, and selecting the wrong boxes, moving them to the background, and back, pulling my hair out, I dicided to give the QC a go.

I'm stuck here to now.......:-(

I created a new project, with one room and one dimmer in it.
When I select a dimmer, there is a choice of 3 'things' in the function-vorlage. They are all called 'dimvalue'. the fist is about dimming, the other two something with jalouzie, althought they are in the 'beleuchtung/schalten' catagory

After selecting the first one and put in the right GA's, I get a dimfucntion in the client, without switching button (only dim), and the popup doesn't seem to work.

I don't know where to begin, Gira is not reachable today, and I want to move on.

Is there some kind of manual for the HS, and the QC in general ?

I don't like to use the QC, but manualy trying to get the graphical things in the right place is a drama.....

Probably you guys have been here too.....

Hallo,
in the Quadclient-folder there is a program, marked with a spanner; this is the setup-program in which you have to setup the computer/Hs combination, specially the IP-Nr. of the HS. Without this setting nothing will work.
