Question about the KNX architecture

I can only recommend an UPS for the KNX power supplies.

A good idea, indeed.
But it has it's limits, as I recently discovered, the bad way.
I asked Merten's TechSup why my Velux actuators (2x648729 4x24V) always loose their status after a power outage ???
In the Visu, the Velux windows show their status as "Open", even after a refresh or a query to the re-read their actual status ... guess who is in panic when it rains ?
Well, it seems the actuator's logic is fed by the aux 24V not by the bus . Sooo, what might appear as a brilliant design idea might turn out to have bad consequences. Btw, no, there is nothing to do about it, except install yet another UPS (The actuator are in an small UV in the roof)

For you guys, living in a city, no problem, with a 3 power outage every 10 years (sometimes I get 5 power loss in an hour)
