KNX/EIB Gira IP Router: "The Device does not support local programming (BCU version %1)" ??

Hello,

I wanted to re-program the application of my Gira IP Router (because of the Filter address parameters), when i want to program the application i choose: "Local" in ETS (v3.0f).

Then it gives me this error message:
The selected device does not support local programming (BCU version %1).

I went back to basic and ONLY connected the IP router to the 640mAh power supply and a 24V AC power supply and my network.
I do NOT press the program button on the IP Router.


When i choose to connect the Bus via IP router, not via Local, i get the error:
The individual address is already allocated to the local interface.

But that is normal, isn't it ?


Is there anyone who knows how to program the IP Router parameters ?

I have tried everything, reseting it to default (Power OFF, press and HOLD the program button for 6 seconds while connecting the Power to it, you see the Program LED blinking).

Can you program the parameters of your IP Router in ETS ? (not by using a different device ?)

(i heard you have a hell of a basement with stuff there.. .. hope you have the IP Router also.. )

Ok,, what is your advice ? Buy an USB or RS232 gateway ? (what gira number?) When I order today, i have it monday, so let's try.. I can post the details here.

I can program this whit the option (by bus). The first program for this product, I use the 057500.

What are changes of the programming?

Ok, So you program the IP Router via another device ?

Can you also program the IP Router by itself ? Without the 057500 ?
