    HS2 diagramme

    Hi,

I'm unable to make a correct diagramme.
I have as input, a continuous source of data (every 15 sec) and I want a monthly diagramme, type line.
Can someone post some screenshots on how to do the archive and the diagramme and maybe a word about the sequence of steps ?
I've been mixing and messing around since long and no result, mainly due to my lack of knowledge of the language

Thank you for your kind help
    Raymond

Thank you for the quick reply.
I can only see picture 1, the second one is empty (maybe missing picture ?).
Also, I'm not sure about how to archive the data correctly, any pointer is welcome.

      Thanks
      Raymond

In the new and actual Version of HS Experte you have a little bit different format of the Time of the Diagramm. Use the Kex "F1" on Keybord, there is an explanation..

I had also problems....but now the Diagrams working well (and looks better )

          Hi,
I'm using the RC. And my F1 key is already worn out (hitting it too hard and too much )
My problem is: My knowledge of the german language is too weak, I don't understand the technical words.
If someone could post a few basic screen shots and the sequence of events, ie: archive so & so, diagramme basic setup, and finishing look, I would be very happy. One I have one diagramme working, I guess I can adapt it to my needs, but sofar, nix

          Thanks
          Raymond

            Hi Raymond,

first you have to creat an "Archiv".

Ringspeicher means: How many positions you want do save (take care it's limited)
I took, see picture archiv 168.
Zyklus means how often you want to capture those positions. Here I took them 1h (60min)
Spalten means: The KO you want to capture: Here I took the temperatures of the first floor. (Nachkommastellen means: numbers behind the komma 0,xxx = 3)

I put all temps in this archiv.

OK the first thing is done. The HS will save these KO in a archive.

Next you have to make a new diagramm

In Archiv you chose the just build archive.
"Anzahl Segmente" means how many positions you want to show.
            In my case "all" 168

In Spalte you can now choose the positions you have selekted in the archive to save.

The rest ist mostly for design.

I'm not realy a crack of using the diagrams, but it may help a bit.

Ringspeicher means: How many positions you want do save
To define the Ringspeicher, I take the sampling rate x time span, so, if I want to sample every 5 min (12x/Hr) on a month, I do 12 x 24 x 30 = 8640. Is this correct ? If my archive is not correct, the output doesn't mean anything. I hope the archive is not reset to zero each time I modify a parameter. and reload the stuff

For the Diagramme, I made a mistake for the Tick Abstand, now it is 0, like in your example. But I've still an empty Diagramme, not even the axis . How should I call the Diagramme to show it in the Visu ? I start from a normal page in the Visu, with a block labeled "Diagramme", and then ???

Oh yes, sure . I would love to "not realy be a crack of using the diagrams" ..... and having it work

Seemsto be right. But I don't know, if it's correct to use a Ringspeicher. To show a diagram, you have first to configre a "Archiv", where you can define what object's you want to save. Then you will not loose your data.

Those archives you can take to display as diagram in the Visu. I think you didn't build up correct this archive. Therefor you don't can display the diagram correct.

Try to buildup first a working archive. an define the HTML (should be the second tab in the archive). Then you can check up if the data in your browser. If there is any data available, you can use the diagram.

                  Aah!
I was wondering what this HTML tab was doing . Great tip, so, at least, now I can see the data (the beginning is full of zero, probably due to a bad config).
But still nothing in the diagramme.
                  I guess I make a big mistake
Can I call the diagramme directly from a button in the Visu ? or should I pass via an intermediate page ?

                  Thank you very much.

                    Hi Ray,

do you use MSN? I could show you by a remote Desktopview to my system, what to do.

Because I guess it will be very long trip to explain all stuff
