KNX/EIB ETS4 ToolDiagWizard fails to create file

Hi,

I'm unable tu run the ToolDiagWizard
NB: ETS 4 is running OK

Running the ToolDiagWizard
Selecting each step with default setting
Everything OK till "Summary"
Select output file i.e. c:\temp
Progress bar runs for 30 sec
error message on red background
"The export to file failed and no file has been created"

tried several disk, directories, USB stick: no go
checked for disk space, 380GB free
tried "run as admin": no go
tried to give full control on c:\temp: no go
tried with print option instead of output file: -->OK<--
tried again with output on disk: no go
configure a virtual printer (write to file), run the tool with the print option pointing to that printer: no go

It looks like a disk problem, any hint ?

Answering my own question ....

boot Windows in save mode: no go
clear all log in order to audit disk access: OK
?!? unexpected
So, something was hindering the ToolDiag to write to disk

the only thing I can see is:
I've 2 disk Set,
- the first is configured as drive C
- the second is not configured, hence not seen by Windows
Maybe the ToolDiag tries to enumerate all disk instances, anyway, very bizare, but the only physical change I've done is to clear all logs
NB: I've about 50 applications, all happy to write to disk C:
